WORK WITH ME

Different situations require different kinds of leadership.

Sometimes you need perspective.

Sometimes you need someone inside the decisions.

Sometimes you need someone willing to help build what comes next.

Return On Intention is designed to meet the situation where it actually is.

Usually, something important is happening.

  • The business is growing faster than its leadership or systems.
  • The founder has become the bottleneck.
  • The team is capable, but alignment is missing.
  • Important decisions keep getting delayed.
  • Roles, responsibilities or expectations have become unclear.
  • A transition, acquisition, partnership or new venture is changing the business.
  • The strategy makes sense, but execution is inconsistent.
  • Leadership knows something needs to change but needs another perspective to see it clearly.

The engagement begins by understanding what is actually happening — then determining what kind of support the situation requires.

HOW I WORK
01 — LEADERSHIP & ADVISORY

Perspective when the decisions matter.

Strategic counsel for founders, executives and leaders navigating growth, complexity, transition or consequential decisions.

This can include leadership counsel, decision support, organizational clarity, strategic thinking, difficult conversations and ongoing executive partnership.

The objective is not to make decisions for the leader.

It is to help the leader see clearly enough to make better ones.

02 — FRACTIONAL LEADERSHIP

When the business needs more than advice.

There are moments when another recommendation is not enough.

Joshua can step into CEO/COO-level work alongside ownership and leadership to help establish priorities, clarify accountability, strengthen operations, develop leaders and move important initiatives forward.

This is hands-on leadership.

Not advice from the sidelines.

03 — BUSINESS BUILDING & PARTNERSHIPS

Build together.

For select businesses and opportunities, the relationship can extend beyond a traditional advisory engagement.

Joshua works alongside founders and ownership to help develop businesses, partnerships, acquisitions and new ventures where there is strong alignment and meaningful long-term potential.

For the right opportunities, the relationship may include equity or participation in the value we create together.

These relationships are selective by design.

04 — LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCES

Sometimes the room needs to change.

Leadership development does not always belong in another meeting.

Return On Intention designs and facilitates leadership retreats, executive offsites, team gatherings and intentional conversations that create the space to address what everyday operations often leave untouched.

Every experience begins with a clear intention.

Then the environment, conversation and experience are built around it.

THE FIRST STEP

Start with the situation. Not the service.

You do not need to know which engagement you need before reaching out.

The first conversation is about understanding what you are trying to create, what is happening now and where the gap may be.

From there, we determine whether Return On Intention can help — and what form that should take.

INTENTION → REALITY → GAP → ACTION

The right engagement becomes clearer from there.

Not every situation needs Return On Intention.

And not every engagement is the right fit.

The strongest relationships are built with people willing to look honestly at what is happening, take responsibility for what they can influence and act on what becomes clear.

If that sounds like the kind of work you are ready to do, we should talk.

NEXT STEP

Let’s try different.

Tell me what you are building, changing or trying to figure out.
